b-festB-Fest is Barnes and Noble’s first nation-wide teen book festival that took place this past weekend. With over 1,000 authors participating, there were plenty of opportunities to meet authors or part-take in some book nerd fun. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule I was only able to attend the first night’s trivia session, but it was still completely worth attending!

At trivia night, each contestant was handed their answer packet and brochure. Once the event started, we were asked book related questions that we had to answer. Some questions were about character names while others were about book title, author name, or setting location. For someone who reads a lot, I found it surprisingly hard to remember some basic info when trying to think back on books. Once all the questions were asked we were treated to free frappuccino samples while the B&N workers added up our scores.

Although I did not win, everyone who was there still received at least one ARC, which was awesome! The winner was lucky enough to get two tote bags, two ARCs, and free ARCs for a year from a certain selection provided by Penguin Random House. I walked away with:

Our Chemical Hearts by Krystal Sutherland
The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett by Chelsea Sedoti
History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

Did you get to attend B-Fest? What did you think? Let me know in the comments down below!
